Welcome and thanks for visiting my blog, I'm Lynn and I love photography. Aside from photography, I'm a wife and mother to a handsome, hard working husband and wonderful son. Ever since I was a little girl I've always loved people, art, light, and playing dress up and that’s the reason I decided to take up photography; because it’s an art that combines all the things I've loved all my life.

Victoria + Robert Wedding | August 20, 2011 | Healdsburg, CA

Had a great time shooting Victoria + Robert's wedding a couple of weekends ago.  Such a fun, loveable couple! And I might add... fierce!

Roses were handed out to the parents and grandparents during the ceremony, so sweet!

Victoria and Robert's first kiss was a bit of a mess... this is one of the groom's men showing Robert how to 'correctly' kiss the bride. Soo funny!

The wedding took place on the groom's grandparents' property, would love to wake up to a view like this every morning.

Vintage Inspired Engagement Session | Old Folsom, CA

Liz is a make-up artist that I've worked with a few times and she contacted me a few weeks ago about doing a vintage inspired engagement session, how could I refuse?  Liz and Mike are so cute together!  I've shot in Folsom a few times before, but never in the actual old town part of Folsom-all the antique shops fit in perfect with our shoot.  :)

My neice Jazzy suggested to take a photo in this spot by the mailboxes and it ended up being one of my favorites. Thanks Jazzy!

Model and Headshot Session | Kristie | Roseville, CA

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with one of my fave models, Kristie California.  I first met Kristie back in January and was blown away by her ability to model in the water.  She picked the location for this session, an empty area behind Walmart... I was super happy with it and the natural light was gorgeous.  I decided to play around with some new actions I purchased from Florabella for the post processing and I'm pretty excited about the results!  :)

I was really looking forward to shooting in front of the nearby train, but the train decided to leave and not return.  So we opted to use this parked diesel truck as an alternate...  so glad we did!

We ended the shoot with some lifestyle shots of Kristie shopping for flowers at the local hardware store.  Here's a couple of my faves.
