Second Shooter Wedding | Downtown Sacramento

Last weekend I had the opportunity to second shoot for Kissed by Tammynize Photography.  I have to admit I've missed second shooting!  The wedding was dowtown Sacramento and the bride+groom couldn't be cuter.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.  :-)




These three girls were so cute playing on the steps of the cathedral.

Child Portrait Session | Uriah | San Francisco Coast

Last week my sister and I left for the coast to get some portraits of my son, Uriah, and her daughter, Hailey. Be sure to check out Hailey's portrait session.  When we left Sacramento, it was about 110 degrees and when we got to the coast, it was in the 60s.  Gotta love that nice breezy San Francisco weather!  It was a little foggy which created great soft portrait light.  Don't be deceived, it appears that my son was very cooperative on this shoot, however, the majority of these shots were done within the first 5 minutes of arriving to our destination and I loved every second of those five minutes!





I love this b+w of him, haha, I think Rocky Balboa would be so proud!

Sometimes the candids end up being my favorite shots from a portrait session. This shot was taken towards the end of the day, I think he was pretty tired from climbing, running, and rolling around in the sand. He's making his way very slowly to the car and right as I was going to yell for him to hurry, I decided to snap a shot instead. Sometimes I have to catch myself before rushing through moments in life too quickly!

Child Portrait Session | Hailey | San Francisco, CA

My sister and I get together every year and do Hailey and my son's portraits together.  This year we wanted to do something on a beach and the best place to beat the heat was the San Francisco coast.  This is my third year doing Hailey's yearly portraits and this girl just keeps getting cuter and cuter.  Not only is she cute, but she is the most well behaved (almost) five year old I know.




Hailey's a girlie girl and she loves accessories, so we thought we'd show them off.  :-)





I think this next shot was my favorite from the day, she's such a doll!


Hailey's dog, Aurora, is pretty cute too.



Climbing up these rocks with a five year old, photography equipment, and a little beagle following close behind is not recommended, but I loved the foggy background.  :-)

Bridal Portrait Session | Hidden Falls | Auburn, CA

I've really been wanting to post a sample bridal portrait blog for a while because I just sort of wanted to let brides know that I do offer bridal portrait sessions and/or day after sessions in lieu of wedding day coverage.  Don't get me wrong, I believe that nothing can replace good wedding day coverage on your actual wedding date; however, for those who are not able to have that option, a bridal portrait or day after session is a great, affordable alternative.

Just to give you an idea, here are some images of a bridal portrait session of my sister, Carmela.  She's not getting married, but she wanted to help me out and agreed to model for me.  She also found this great location in Auburn, CA.  :-)  Love you Carmela!
