Last week my sister and I left for the coast to get some portraits of my son, Uriah, and her daughter, Hailey. Be sure to check out
Hailey's portrait session. When we left Sacramento, it was about
110 degrees and when we got to the coast, it was in the 60s. Gotta love that nice breezy San Francisco weather! It was a little foggy which created great soft portrait light. Don't be deceived, it appears that my son was very cooperative on this shoot, however, the majority of these shots were done within the first 5 minutes of arriving to our destination and I loved every second of those five minutes!
I love this b+w of him, haha, I think Rocky Balboa would be so proud!
Love this hazy background.
Sometimes the candids end up being my favorite shots from a portrait session. This shot was taken towards the end of the day, I think he was pretty tired from climbing, running, and rolling around in the sand. He's making his way very slowly to the car and right as I was going to yell for him to hurry, I decided to snap a shot instead. Sometimes I have to catch myself before rushing through moments in life too quickly!
