Welcome and thanks for visiting my blog, I'm Lynn and I love photography. Aside from photography, I'm a wife and mother to a handsome, hard working husband and wonderful son. Ever since I was a little girl I've always loved people, art, light, and playing dress up and that’s the reason I decided to take up photography; because it’s an art that combines all the things I've loved all my life.

Sneak Peek | Bridal Portrait Session | Carmela

Yesterday was a little outdoorsy and of course lots of fun!  Shout out to my sister Carmela for being a great model, finding this gorgeous location, and helping me carry everything uphill, downhill, over rocks, and through mosquitos.

We brought our little ones with us, Hailey (4), my niece and Uriah (3), my son.  I'm pretty sure they had a lot of fun too, until...  it was time to walk uphill to the car.  Haha, they slept very well last night  :)

Here's a little sneak peek of the shoot from yesterday.

And a couple 'behind the scenes' shots.  Carmela carrying her shoes and bouquet strapped to her backpack, super funny!  The little ones being super assistants until they realized the umbrella would shade them from the sun...  haha, it was bye-bye umbrella from that point.

I'll be posting more photos from this session soon!  :)

Senior Cap and Gown Portraits | Class of 2011 | Bree Brazil | William B. Pond

I did Bree's Senior Portraits last September, but she only just recently received her cap and gown.  Bree is such a joy to shoot and I was glad to shoot with her again, this time with her cap and gown.  We started off the shoot indoors  to try and get that 'traditional' cap and gown shot.

But anybody who knows me knows that I love to shoot outdoors so it didn't take long before we found ourselves outside. Bree glowed in the 100 degree heat.

These next few shots are very special because it is a very rare occassion that Bree will wear a dress.  She purchased this dress herself for her graduation ceremony and she looks beautiful!

These next two images Bree took herself while I was driving.  She is so funny!  She hates them, but I love them because they totally capture her personality.

Congratulations Bree!  I'm very proud of you and I'm super excited for your next journey in life... college =D

Rachel + Robert | June 4, 2011 | Crooked Vine Winery | Livermore, CA

Last Saturday I had the privilege of shooting Rachel + Robert's wedding at the Crooked Vine Winery in Livermore, CA.  Just to describe Rachel and Robert in one word, sweet!  Rachel planned a beautiful sunny wedding and who would've thought that the all day forecast would be rain!  I must admit that this was not our first issue with rain, our e-session got rescheduled due to rain also.  Despite the news of having her reception moved indoors, Rachel remained happy and just as sweet as can be... and not only was the reception just as beautiful indoors, the rain stopped for perfect amounts of time to shoot the outdoor formals.  :)

Check out this slideshow of Rachel + Robert's special day.  It's my first attempt at photofusion, and I'm loving it.  It's hard not to fall in love with the bride + groom after watching this, they really are that gorgeous and sweet!

Thanks to Jenny for capturing the majority of the video footage and for being a great second shooter!
